Parapharyngeal tumors represent 0,5% of head and neckneoplasms. Commonly they pose diagnostic and surgical
challenges. The present paper reports a case of 54 years-old
patient with dysphagia, snoring and a lump on the left side
of the oropharynx. Surgery was performed via a transcervical
parotid approach with medial mandibulectomy. The pathology
report diagnosed a pleomorphic adenoma. The case is
discussed against a background of the literature review.
