Mucocele is a benign lesion with slow growth containing mucoid material. It is frequently found in the frontal and ethmoid sinuses. Clinical manifestations may range from asymptomatic to frontal cephalea, facial edema or asymmetry and ophthalmologic alterations as proptosis and reduced visual acuity. It is rarely bilateral. The authors present a case report of a 72 year old woman with a bilateral fronto-ethmoidal mucocele. A brief review of the literature is also included.
