Angiocentric Eosinophilic Fibrosis is a rare disease, that affects the nasal cavity and upper respiratory tract. Its etiology is still not yet clarified, and symptoms consist in obstruction of the upper airways. Macroscopically, it presents as a pink-white lesion, varying in size and extension, with possible ulceration. It is currently a diagnosis of exclusion, and defined by imuno-histological aspects. Possible relation with IgG4-mediated diseases is being currently investigated. So far treatment is mainly surgical, with special attention regarding post-surgical recurrences of the disease.
