A case report of a 88-year-old man with progressive dysphagia and dyspnoea in association with cervical spine hyperlordosis. Videolaryngoscopy and CT scan revealed that symptoms were caused by pharynx compression towards larynx by the cervical spine. Cervical spine hyperlordosis is a rare pathology which may potentially cause losses in quality of life or even may lead to death in certain cases. It was prescribed immediate supportive care with tracheostomy and nasogastric tube.
