Mucoepidermoidal carcinoma of the larynx

It is an extremely rare tumour of the larynx, with a great histologic diversity. It originates in the ductal elements of the submucosal glands. The clinician should be alert when a hard submucous mass in supraglotis area is seen. Treatment should be individualised according to its histologic grade. We present a case of such a tumour in a woman.
