Abstract

NK/T-cell lymphoma is a rare subtype of lymphoma of the sinonasal tract, previously known as lethal midline granuloma. lt is characterized by the progressive destructíon of midfacial structures.

We report the case of a 43 year old woman with NK/T-cell lymphoma, nasal-type with an extremely unusual locatíon in the oropharynx. Despite of being rare, there are well defined therapeutíc modalitíes available in the management of this type of tumours. However, the prognosis is usually poor.
