Abstract

Objective: The purpose of this study is to determine the differents aspects, relationship and differences on the Quality of Life Questionary Head and Neck 35 and the results from an interview with the patient.

Patients and methods: A retrospective transversal questionary about quality of life in 40 patients submited to surgery (total laring ectomy+radiotherapy) five or more years before this study

Results: 100% of the patients consider that the main problem after treatment is the voice loss and mucositis after radiotherapy Also, all of them refer an increase of trachela and pulmonary infections. 30% have work and economic problems. 15% refer neck pain. 10% present sexual dysfunction
