Laboratory and imagiologic assessment excluded infeccious and neoplasic etiologies and a biopsy specimen from a cutaneous lesion made the diagnosis of Pemphigus vegetans. Therapy with prednisolone resulted in regression of the mucosal and cutaneous lesions. Cyclosporine was added after 2 months and the dose of prednisolone was tappered and latter discontinued. Complete remission was achieved after 8 months of treatment.
