Abstract

Inverted Papilloma (IP) is a tumor that rarely involves the frontal sinus with published series reporting incidences that range between 1% and 33%. It is still more exceptional as an isolated occurrence in the frontal sinus, as happens in the current case. This article describes the therapeutic handling of our case against a revision of Hispanic and Anglo-Saxon Literature. The purpose of the revision was to quantify the incidence of the PI affecting the frontal sinus, to review the surgical approaches of the frontal sinus in this pathology and the different rates of recurrence of the disease.
