Laryngeal leiomyosarcoma is a malignant neoplasm of the smooth muscle cells highly infrequent in this location. The diagnosis is histological and based on immunohistochemical studies. We are reporting a case of a 70-year-old male patient with a leiomyosarcoma of the larynx treated by total laryngectomy. He remained disease-free one year after the opetaration.
