Best paper prize for papers published vol. 62, no. 1, March, 2024

The best paper published in the edition nº 1, volume 62, March 2024 of the Portuguese Journal of Otorhinolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, was chosen through voting by the 18 members of the Scientific Council and the 81 members of the Journal's Editorial Board. A total of 24 votes were cast.
The best paper, with 11 votes, is “Tranexamic acid versus hot saline irrigations in endoscopic sinus surgery: a review and meta-analysis”, authored by: Francisco Alves de Sousa, Mariline Santos, Paula Branco, Joana Ida Dias, Sara Costa, Ana Nóbrega Pinto, Luís Meireles, Miguel Gonçalves Ferreira
