Carcinoma papilar primário num quisto do canal tireoglosso- Caso clínico

Apresentamos o caso clínico de uma paciente de 45 anos em que foi diagnosticado carcinoma papilar com origem num quisto do canal tireoglosso, identificado no estudo anátomopatológico após cirurgia pela técnica de Sistrunk. Os quistos do canal tireoglosso são as lesões quísticas congénitas cervicais mais frequentes e são malignos em menos de 1% dos casos. Foram descritos poucos casos de carcinoma papilar primário em quistos do canal tireoglosso e existem controvérsias quanto à sua abordagem diagnóstica e tratamento.
