Enxaqueca vestibular

A enxaqueca vestibular, considerada um sintoma vestibular da enxaqueca, é uma entidade clínica heterogénea cuja apresentação mais frequente é a crise vertiginosa recorrente. O diagnóstico baseia-se numa história clínica detalhada e num elevado índice de suspeição. Deve fazer parte do diagnóstico diferencial das síndromes vertiginosas recorrentes. Os tratamentos recomendados baseiam-se na identificação e evicção dos factores precipitantes e em fármacos usados na profilaxia da enxaqueca.
Os autores apresentam um caso clínico de uma doente do sexo feminino, com 43 anos de idade, com antecedentes de enxaqueca e uma história de crises de vertigem rotatória recorrente de longa data, desencadeadas e/ou exacerbadas por factores precipitantes e acompanhadas por outros sintomas somato-sensoriais. Foi tratada eficazmente com evicção de factores precipitantes e medicação profilática da enxaqueca.
