Qualidade vocal após cordectomia transoral com laser CO2

Resumo

Objetivos: O presente estudo pretende avaliar a qualidade vocal em doentes submetidos a microcirurgia da laringe transoral com laser CO2 (MTL), de acordo o tipo de cordectomia.
Desenho de estudo: Observacional transversal.
Material e Métodos: Doentes submetidos a MTL por carcinoma pavimentoso celular (CPC) glótico, divididos em dois grupos: grupo A (cordectomia tipo III) e grupo B (tipos IV-V). Foram avaliados os seguintes parâmetros: frequência fundamental (F0), jitter, shimmer, tempo máximo fonatório (TMF), escala GRBAS e Voice Handicap Index-10 (VHI-10).
Resultados: Foram recrutados 16 doentes, 8 no grupo A e 8 no grupo B. Doentes do grupo B apresentaram um VHI-10 maior em relação aos doentes do grupo A. Os valores de G (grau), R (aspereza) e S (tensão) e ainda os parâmetros acústicos foram tendencialmente piores no grupo B.   Conclusão: O tipo de MTL influencia, a longo prazo, a qualidade vocal, com um grande impacto na qualidade de vida.
