Síndrome de Eagle - Relato de caso e revisão da literatura

Resumo

Os autores descrevem o caso clínico de um homem de 46 anos com queixas de odinofagia persistente resistente à terapêutica médica. As queixas do doente eram despertáveis com a rotação da cabeça e com a palpação da região do músculo estilo-hiodeu. A tomografia computorizada (TC) confirmou a presença de uma apófise estiloideia alongada com calcificação do ligamento estilo-hioideu, confirmando-se assim o Síndrome de Eagle como a mais provável hipótese de diagnóstico. É também apresentada uma revisão da literatura do Síndrome de Eagle.
